Attention Legal Scholars,

On behalf of the Akron Law Review, I hope that you will consider sharing your expertise and innovative ideas at the Forging the Future of Healthcare Symposium at The University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio, on Friday, April 4, 2025. The Symposium Issue of the Akron Law Review hopes to showcase exceptional legal scholarship on healthcare legislation, regulation, delivery, access, and innovation. This is your opportunity to share your vision for our healthcare system by spotlighting a critical issue and presenting innovative solutions.

If you are interested in publishing with the Akron Law Review and presenting at the symposium on Friday, April 4, 2025, please submit a one-page abstract or unpublished paper by Friday, September 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM (EST). Final drafts must be approximately 10,000-12,000 words in length. Scholars must be available to attend the symposium and will have a maximum of 30 minutes to present their work.

Our editorial board is committed to making prompt decisions. We will extend offers by Friday, September 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM (EST). Drafts of papers to be presented at the symposium must be submitted to our team for editing by Friday, January 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM (EST). The articles will be published in Volume 58 of the Akron Law Review, which we anticipate will be published in the spring of 2025. Please email Tatyana Norman-Webler (tmr97@uakron.edu) with any questions and to submit your abstract or unpublished paper by Friday, September 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM (EST). We are unable to accept student notes for this issue.
